Hello I'm Adam...

I am  a physiotherapist & performance specialist who is deeply passionate about health, fitness and performance. Guided by evidence and applied with experience, my approach considers the whole person not just the training.

 

With 10+ years combined experienced within physiotherapy, coaching and massage therapy. Teaming up with athletes and general fitness enthusiasts with vigour and determination creating life changing results via 1-1 and online coaching.

 

My aim is to support people to achieve their athletic potential, and my mission is to change the model of health and performance through redesign, reengineering and architecture.

TRANSFORMATION

I've always had having a balanced approach in life, not doing too much of one thing, this is why within my own training I like to have a variety, whilst also making progressions to maximise my athletic potential.

 

I was never the quickest in school, nor the fittest, the strongest or the most powerful so I knew I had to develop these to be the best athlete I can be within my sport.

 

Today almost being 30 years of age, I can say that I am probably fitter and more athletic than most people my age, however this was down to my personal growth and development.​ 

 

I have experience within free weights, calisthenics, endurance, plyometrics, speed and agility and mobility training. & I am here to tell you it all works!

LEARNING CURVE

I have always been into fitness and sports my whole life, having football as my foundation, then venturing into the gym looking for new ways to maximise my overall performance and to allow me grow into my potential.

I played semi-professional football for 5 years with my pursuit to turn professional, along that journey I learnt a lot about performance training, mindset, nutrition and rehabilitation and recovery.

During my time as a player I learnt from experts in different fields of the health and fitness industry, and that learning still applies today, one of my most recent pursuits was qualifying as a physiotherapist.

APPROACH TO FITNESS

Health is wealth because without it life won't be an enjoyable experience, to be more specific we want the things that we do such as our sports and activities to be enjoyable too, and we can't enjoy them when we are unfit or injured.

One of my favourite quotes is 'Treat everybody like an athlete' because at the end of the day everyone is an anthlete in some way.

 

This is why I steered away from the traditional approach of the 'Get big and look good' and ventured out into other areas of training methods to really maximise my athleticism.

As an athlete you need to be able to lift, run, jump and be mobile, and doing just one thing was not serving my purpose, as an athlete you will need a variety of things to be able to prepare your mind and body to perform optimally.
